1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> 1.1 Description of Site: The project consists of 640 acres of land. The subject parcel numbers <br /> are 065-110-06, 07, 09. The project is in an agricultural community, and the existing parcels (/•�� <br /> are zoned AG-40. <br /> 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to create sixteen 40 acre parcels f 2, <br /> from the existing parcels. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title, this <br /> Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report (SSCR) is being submitted for approval. This <br /> report will investigate the property for visual or historical environment contamination based on <br /> field observation, interviews with the owner, and county records. (This SSCR includes no <br /> chemical analysis). <br /> 1.3 Parcel Location Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map with Vicinity Map, and APN <br /> page). <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). <br /> J <br /> 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> 2.1 Discussion of Past, Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of <br /> information of the historic use of this property is testimony of the owner, Brian Mellor. J <br /> The owner was interviewed on December 12, 2012. Brian Mellor has owned the property for six <br /> years and the property has been in the family for many years. The land use has not changed under <br /> his ownership. <br /> Presently the property is used for two residences and farming land. The surrounding properties to <br /> the west, south, and east are used for farming land. The surrounding properties on the north are (2.1_� <br /> split with farming land and the North County Recycling Center and Sanitary Landfill. <br /> 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION: <br /> 3.1 Methods Used to Research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched <br /> at the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office on December 26, 2012 (see appendix for <br /> results). An onsite survey performed on December 26, 2012 by Brook Handel of Dillon& Murphy. 3 1' <br /> The owner was interviewed on December 12, 2012 by Joe Murphy of Dillon& Murphy. San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department's underground storage tank site mitigation database list did <br /> not yield any findings on the subject parcel. A search for U.S.T./L.U.S.T sites was done on the subject <br /> parcel and yielded no findings. Research was performed on the subject site as required by County <br /> regulations. <br /> 3.2 Description of All Past On-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground <br /> Sources of Contamination Identified at the Project Site: Past on-site potentials for <br /> contamination are low. The property has been used for farming land for the last 6 years and <br /> historically there have been no underground storage tanks. The owner has no knowledge of above <br /> ground storage of chemicals on the subject parcel. 3 2 <br /> 1 <br />
