STAGNO <br /> STAGNO'S MEAT COMPANY <br /> SAN.JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> MONITORING <br /> The Discharger shall comply with the following monitoring and reporting program. The Discharger <br /> shall inspect the wastewater treatment pond,liner, and freeboard, and the designated disposal area <br /> (cropland). The quality of the liner and discharges made off property under the control of the <br /> Discharger(including manured tailwater) shall be noted. Inspections of the liner shall be conducted, at <br /> a minimum, semiannually. Daily inspections shall be made when wastewater is being applied to the <br /> cropland and weekly during other periods. The results of all inspections will be recorded for submittal <br /> in the annual report. <br /> The time and date of sample collection shall be recorded. The appropriate sample containers, storage, <br /> Agency analytical methods shall be implemented. The <br /> transport and Environmental Protection <br /> following shall constitute the monitoring program. <br /> WASTEWATER TREATMENT POND EFFLUENT MONITORING <br /> Grab samples of the effluent from the wastewater treatment pond shall be retrieved prior to discharge <br /> to the designated disposal area. Effluent samples shall be representative of the volume and nature of <br /> the discharge. Analyses shall be performed for the following constituents: <br /> Compounds Units Sampling Frequency <br /> Flow(cumulative) Gallons/day Monthly <br /> Nitrogen mg/l Semi-Annual' <br /> Phosphorus mgn Semi-Annuals <br /> Potassium mg/1 Semi-Annuals <br /> Semi-Annual' <br /> Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) rng/1 As necessary due to odors <br /> Biochemical Oxygen Demand(BOD) mg/1 As necessary due to odors <br /> Suspended Solids mg/1 <br /> As necessary due to odors <br /> Dissolved Oxygen mg/1 <br /> ' semi-annual samples shall be collected mid-summer and mid-winter. <br /> -31- <br />
