R.J.M. Vineyards, LLC
Atm: San Joaquin County Commission
To Whorp It May Concern,
Our company has been farming in San Joaquin and Stanislaus counties for four
generations. Over time we have adapted to the ever changing regulations set and enforced by the
US Department of Agriculture, California Department of Pesticide Resources, and the County
Agricultural Commissioner. In an attempt to abide with the strict regulations set, we have
implemented compost into our nutrition program.
The use of compost not only recycles a portion of the green waste we produce, but it also
cuts down on the amount of synthetic fertilizers we use. Compost adds organic matter back into
the soil increasing the fertility and quality of the soil. The compost we apply to our vineyards
help the soil retain soil moisture reducing the amount of water required. It will allow us to be
sustainable in our fanning practices and continue farming for generations.
We have been doing business with Valley Organics since 2009. The customer service we
have received from them has been outstanding. They are always prompt with the delivery of the
material and are courteous we entering our property. The salesmen have been friendly and easy
to work with. We are looking forward to see Valley Organics grow and prosper and hope to
continue doing business with them for many years.
Regards,
Dirk Heuvel
RJM Vineyards LLC
18700 E.
