1 <br /> ' 1.0 INTRODUCTION AND PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT: <br /> t 1.1 Description of Site: The project consists of a 73.5 acre parcel located at 27403 E. State Route 4 <br /> Farmington, CA. The subject parcel number is 187-310-20. The project is in an agricultural <br /> community, and the existing parcel is zoned <br /> ' AG-160. <br /> 1.2 Description of proposed development: It is proposed to create a 2.0 acre Homesite parcel from <br /> ' the existing 73.5 acre parcel. In accordance with the San Joaquin County Development Title,this <br /> Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report(SSCR) is being submitted for approval. This report will <br /> investigate the property for visual or historical environmental contamination based on field observation, <br /> ' interviews with the owner, and county records. (this SSCR includes no chemical analysis) <br /> 1.3 Parcel Location Map: (See Appendix for Tentative map with Vicinity Map, and APN Page). <br /> 1.4 Site Map: (See Appendix for Tentative Map). <br /> 2.0 PAST, PRESENT, AND PROPOSED FUTURE USES OF THIS SITE: <br /> ' 2.1 Discussion of Past, Present, and Proposed Future Uses: The primary source of information of the <br /> historic use of this property is testimony of the owner's son, Chester Murphy. Mr. Murphy was <br /> interviewed on May 1, 2013 by Joe Murphy. The Murphy family has owned the property for more than <br /> 20 years. The land use has always been agriculture. <br /> Presently the property includes a vineyard. The surrounding properties (north, south, east, and west) are <br /> ' used for agricultural use. <br /> The only plans for the property is to create a 2.0 acre Homesite parcel around the existing house. <br /> ' 3.0 IDENTIFICATION OF ALL PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF <br /> CONTAMINATION• <br /> 1 3.1 Methods Used to Research: Methods used to research this parcel were records researched through <br /> the San Joaquin County Agriculture Commissioners office in May, 2013 (see appendix for results). <br /> ' An onsite survey was also performed on May 14, 2013 by Louie Mendez of Dillon&Murphy. <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department Underground Storage Tank site mitigation <br /> ' database list did not yield any findings on the subject parcel (see appendix). A search for <br /> U.S.T./L.U.S.T. sites was done on the subject parcel and yielded no findings. Research was performed <br /> on the subject site as required by County regulations. <br /> 3.2 Description of All Past On-Site Potential and/or Known Above and Below Ground Sources of <br /> Contamination Identified at the Project Site: Past on-site potential for contamination is low, the <br /> ' property has been a vineyard for several years. Historically there have been no underground storage <br /> tanks. The owner has no knowledge of above or below ground sources of contamination on the subject <br /> parcel.
