Ten monitoring events have been completed
to date since the groundwater investigation was initiated in April 2000. The results of
analytical data indicate that detectable concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon
f
compounds (BTEX), Methyl-tert-butyl ether (MTBE) and total petroleum hydrocarbons
(TPH-G) are present in one of the six monitoring wells. The deep well MW-101 was non- '
i
detect for the fourth consecutive event, strongly suggesting that the contamination
previously recorded was a drilling artifact and not indicative of a deeper contaminant
plume.
On January 14 2002 Thom son-H sell Engineering of Modesto California resurveyed the
wells in accordance with the SWRCB GeoTracker requirements. Depth to water
Ul
measurements were also conducted at this time. Survey information was uploaded to
SWRCB GeoTracker system on March 11, 2002. The confirmation code is 6067371964 for
XY coordinates and 6080280900 for Z coordinates.
The groundwater gradient for January 14, 2002, is 0.0019 ft/ft flowing N89°W. The
groundwater gradient for March 14, 2002, is 0.0018 ft/ft flowing N81°W. Both are
f
