The next event will occur
by November 30, 2001.
0 A Vadose Zone Remediation - Corrective Action Plan has been approved by San
Joaquin County PHS/EHD and cost pre-approval from the USTCFP is pending. The
fproject is in a public comment period and cannot be initiated until this period and
Lr subsequent evaluation/action have elapsed. We recommend that the vapor extraction
system be operated for a few months to remove the high concentrations of leachable
contaminants and then this site be closed.
3.0 LIMITATIONS
This report was prepared in accordance with the accepted standards and practices of the
field of environmental geology, groundwater hydrology and good business practices. It
should be recognized that definition and evaluation of environmental conditions is a
difficult and an inexact science. Judgments leading to conclusions and recommendations
are generally made with an incomplete knowledge of the site-specific conditions present.
i
r The tasks proposed and completed during this project were reviewed and approved by the
local regulatory agency for compliance with the law.
