This was the third <br /> consecutive quarterly groundwater monitoring event to take place at the facility. The <br /> analytical results show that detectable concentrations of the aromatic hydrocarbon <br /> compounds (BTEX) and total petroleum hydrocarbons (TPH-G) are present in one of three <br /> monitoring wells. The fuel oxygenate compound, MTBE, was also present in this well (MW- <br /> 1). This is consistent with the first two groundwater monitoring events conducted -on April <br /> 18 and July 14, 2000. <br /> ! The groundwater gradient is 0.0025 ft/ft Bowing N81°W. Depth to groundwater at the site <br /> was approximately 62 feet below ground surface (bgs). <br /> t <br /> 1.0 GROUNDWATER MONITORING <br /> 1.1 Hydrogeology of Site <br /> The dominant soil type in the upper 75 feet of subsurface geologic soils investigated is sand, <br /> with fine to coarse-grained texture.
