These conclusions are based on the
premise that the data we considered, although incomplete, are representative of actual site
conditions. We acknowledge that there may be undiscovered conditions, which would upon
their consideration, change our interpretation and thus our conclusions.
Our recommendations are based on our knowledge of site conditions, and on the state and
limitations of subsurface investigative technology. ►
4.1 Conclusions
i
Geological Technics Inc., taking into consideration the data obtained from this investigation
and from the data compiled during previous soil and groundwater investigations and the
regular groundwater monitoring events, makes the following conclusions.
., g
I
1. Soil contamination is still present around the former pump islands and tanks, however at
much reduced levels from those found at the site earlier.
j 4.2 Recommendations '
Geological Technics Inc. makes the following recommendations based on the conclusions f
outlined above:
1. Groundwater monitoring will be performed once all three monitoring wells have been
finished to surface grade.
2. A vapor extraction pilot test will be performed once the vapor wells have been finished to
surface grade.
3. A report that will include the groundwater monitoring data, vapor extraction pilot test
data and all previous site characterization data will be prepared. Recommendations can
then be drawn. #
4
i
I
I
I
I
I
I k
J
l
i
t f
