3
McDowell& Davis Towing
Quarterly Groundwater Sampling Report August 2002
Page: 3
Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) in an August 6, 2002 review letter
requested additional information on the Risk Based Corrective Action Modeling used in
the risk assessment. The SJCEHD observed that current site usage may cause benzene
vapor releases that exceed the established exposure standards making the additional
projected risk minimal. As response to the August 6, 2002 review letter is in preparation.
Quarterly groundwater monitoring to verify plume stability and degradation prior to
closure of the site will continue.
The above represents our best professional opinion as to environmental conditions at this
site. These opinions were derived using data at hand, and standards of care common to
the environmental consulting community in Northern California. There is the possibility
that even with proper application of the above methodologies, there may exist on the
subject property conditions that could not be identified within the scope of this sampling
work or which were not reasonably identifiable from the available information. The
methodologies included in this report are not intended to produce all inclusive or
comprehensive results, but rather to provide the client with information regarding
apparent suspicions of existing and potential adverse environmental conditions relating to
the subject property. Additional work at this site may generate data that could lead to a
change of opinion regarding conditions or appropriate remedial procedures or both.
Prepared by: c) r,4 PTcc
J 1
Robert Fourt, CHG
Certified Hydrogeologist#180
£OVI itONAMF
Michael I Kloberdanz, A,REHS W.42157
California Registered Environmental Assessor#02157
California Registered Environmental Health Specialist#4783 Expires:
eryTOF 1.i1
0
