McDowell & Davis Towing
Quarterly Groundwater Sampling Report February 2002
Page: 3
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
In a January 22, 2002 letter, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
requested a sensitive receptor / well survey, calculation of the residual contaminant
mass, and evaluation of the need to actively remediate the release. The sensitive
receptor / well survey will include identifying all municipal, domestic, agricultural and
industrial wells, and other potential receptors within a 2,000- foot radius of the site.
Construction details and current status of wells identified in the survey will be included
as part of the receptor / well survey. Well reports on file with the Department of
Water Resources will be requested for wells identified in the survey. An estimate of the
contaminant mass identified in the subsurface investigation, an evaluation of the
potential threat to identified receptors, and an evaluation of active remediation of the
contamination will be included in the report. The report is in preparation and will be
submitted under separate cover.
The above represents our best professional opinion as to environmental conditions at this
site. These opinions were derived using data at hand, and standards of care common to
the environmental consulting community in Northern California. There is the possibility
that even with proper application of the above methodologies, there may exist on the
subject property conditions that could not be identified within the scope of this sampling
work or which were not reasonably identifiable from the availableinformation. The
methodologies included in this report are not intended to produce all inclusive or
comprehensive results, but rather to provide the client with information regarding apparent
suspicions of existing and potential adverse environmental conditions relating to the
subject property. Additional work at this site may generate data that could lead to a
change of opinion regarding conditions or ap 5- ,riateeihedial procedures or both.
Prepared b !
XP 3
Robert Fourt, CHGo
1
Certified Hydrogeologist#180 F a1
Michael .
