The cell is 150 feet by 90
feet-'and accommodates impacted'soil to .a depth of 2 feet (Exhibit 4). -The bottom of
the cell is. lined with Visquene plastic sheets. Containment of impacted soil is achieved
_ by 3 112 to 4 foot earthen berms-which are also lined with plastic sheeting to separate
the clean soil of-the berms from the impacted soil of the excavation.
Composite soil samples were collected from the approximately 800 cubic yards of soil
staged. at..-the treatment cell in a.grid-which'is displayed'in exhibit 4. Bioremediation of the
diesel impacted .soils has. been initiated and will continue -until remedial target
'concentrations are-achieved. `AGI recommends sampling of the:rernediating soil at 60
days to establish whether the remediation is progressing satisfactorily and to provide a
projected time frame for site closure.
-_ = .7 of.7
