• / KLEINFELDER
on this distance and the relatively low nitrate-nitrogen levels calculated, we anticipate that the
impact to water bodies will be minimal
The results of our percolation tests for Lots 1, 8, and 26 indicate that the near surface soils (at a
depth of about 3 to 3%x feet) exhibit suitable percolation characteristics. A suitable soil condition
for a test at this depth is defrted as a stratum capable of percolating water at a rate of 60 min/inch
or faster. A conventional septic tank/leach trench sewage disposal system designed per SJCEHD
criteria should adequately serve the proposed residences.
The results of the remaining percolations tests (Lots 9, 16, 17, 18, 24, 25, and 28) indicate that a
suitable soil percolation stratum exists at depths ranging from about 8 to 17 feet below the
existing ground surface at the locations tested. A suitable soil condition for tests deeper than
about 3%: feet is defined as a stratum capable of percolating water at a rate of 30 min/inch or
faster. A conventional septic tank/leach trench sewage disposal system with seepage pits
designed per SJCEHD criteria should adequately serve the proposed residence. The seepage pits
should extend into the more sandy soils that were encountered at depths ranging from about 8 to
17 feet below the existing site grade.
LIMITATIONS
The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the existing and
proposed development and on the site conditions. It was assumed that the percolation test results
are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
This completes the scope of work requested. Our work was performed in general accordance
with the standard of care that exists in San Joaquin County. No other guarantee or warranty,
expressed or implied, is made.
Respectfully submitted,
ESS/0
KLEINFELDER INC. r i%QP 1' olsFy R
tj a+
No. 64998 m
?(';* Exp.6-07
Ryan J.
