SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc (Live Oak) was contracted by Joe Lombardi to conduct <br /> a Soil Suitability Study for the for the Lombardi property located at 23004 East Gawne <br /> Road, Stockton, California (Plate 1). <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> The proposed project is a minor subdivision to divide the Site into two parcels (Plate 2). <br /> No development is planned. <br /> Site Descri tion <br /> The Site is 160 cres in size. It consists of Assessor's Parcel Number (APN) 187-080- <br /> 04, locate 23004 East Gawne Road, Stockton. The County project application <br /> number is PA-0900272. The Site consists of unimproved land covered in seasonal <br /> vegetation. An irrigation canal crosses orthem portion of the Site. A recent aerial <br /> photograph of the Site is included as=United <br /> The elevation of the Site, according States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 90 feet above mean sea-level. The ground surface in the area <br /> slopes downward gently toward the northwest(Plate 4). <br /> The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the <br /> Site is zoned AG-40, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This <br /> zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br /> commercial agricultural enterprises." <br /> Past Uses of the Site <br /> Based on historical aerial photographs reviewed, the Site has been pasture land since <br /> 1937 or earlier. <br /> LOGE1018 Pae 1 <br /> 9 <br />
