The new system is to be built on the subject property located at <br /> 1300 Gertrude Ave., Stockton, CA. The Assessor's Parcel Number is 143-270-67. The site is <br /> 1.54 acres in size. The septic system design was required as a condition for site approval by San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Division. The San Joaquin County Site Approval <br /> Number is PA-02-295. <br /> The proposed project is to build a second truck scale and silo on the site. A new septic <br /> system was required because the new construction is to be placed over an existing septic system. <br /> The conditions for site approval were indicated in a letter from San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department to San Joaquin County Community Development Department <br /> dated August 13,2002. Condition A indicates that a design for a replacement septic system <br /> incorporating the number of employees. The leach field is required to be barricaded. Mr. <br /> Raymond Borges indicated that the existing septic system can remain in operation until it fails. <br /> At that time,the new leach field will be required to be constructed. A 100%replacement area for <br /> the new leach field is required. <br /> The site plan(Plate 1) shows the existing facility, the proposed facility, the location of the <br /> existing septic system, the location of the new septic system,the percolation tests, and the <br /> locations of the 100%replacement area for the new septic system. <br /> I. Percolation Tests <br /> Three(3)percolation tests were performed on the property in an area initially proposed <br /> for the replacement septic system. The proposed new disposal area has been relocated to another <br /> part of the site due to confining conditions. The percolation tests which were performed on the <br />
