Gatntde Ave.
Stockton, CA 95202
Our Job#: S99284
Gentlemen:
Per your request we have completed performing one (1) deep pit percolation teat
at the subject project This letter and attachments presents the results of our test.
Test hole was excavated with a truck mounted drill rig utilizing 4.5-inch diameter
continuous flight auger. The location of the test hole is located in the approximate area as
indicated by the site map provided by Steve Mackey from Dillon & Murphy. An
engineer logged the test hole and a description of the soils encountered in the hole is
presented on the attached Log of Test Holes, Generally a permeable sand stratum was
encountered at a depth of 17.0 to 21.0 feel For a detailed description of the soils
encountered see the Log of Test Holes.
Deep pit percolation test was performed at the test hole location. The test was
performed within the sand stratum. Two inches of gravel was placed in the bottom of the
4.5-inch diameter percolation test hole. A 2-inch diameter perforated pipe was then
placed in the hole and backfilled with gravel. The test hole was filled with water 24-
hours prior to running the test. A county health official witnessed the last half-hour of the
test readings and the test data obtained is attached The percolation rates have been
adjusted to account for the gravel a pipe backfill. Calculations for adjustments are on the
test data sheet.
