Mr. Philip Marquez, Kleinfelder Staff Biologist, conducted a site reconnaissance on February 12, <br /> 2002 to assess present site conditions. The site conditions discussed below are limited to readily <br /> apparent environmental conditions observed. The Regulatory Agency Database Report (EDR) is <br /> included as Appendix A. The Application for Authorization to Use form is attached as Appendix <br /> B. <br /> GENERAL SITE SETTING <br /> The site appears as a fenced-in, vacant lot located in the southwestern comer of Myrtle Street <br /> and Gertrude Avenue in Stockton, California. Depth to groundwater at the site is estimated to be <br /> approximately 48 feet below grade surface (bgs). According to the San Joaquin County Flood <br /> Control and Water Conservation District Ground Water Report (Spring 2000), the site is located <br /> L within an area in which the groundwater is estimated to flow towards the southeast. During <br /> Kleinfelder's site reconnaissance, the site was in the process of being graded. To the north of the <br /> Lsite is Myrtle Street, beyond which is an industrial area. South and west of the site is residential <br /> subdivision (Burkett Gardens). East of the site is Gertrude Avenue, beyond which is residential <br /> subdivision).
