FIRE CODE REQUIREMENTS: The following Uniform Fire Code and <br /> San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements will be <br /> applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction <br /> plans before submittal to the Community Development <br /> Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by <br /> the use of NFPA 1231 of the National Fire Code (static <br /> water supply) . <br /> (2) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance <br /> with section 902.2 of the California Fire Code and the <br /> standard adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs <br /> Association. <br /> (3) Fire department access to buildings shall be in <br /> accordance with Section 902 .4 of the California Fire <br /> Code. Key Boxes: A knox box shall be installed <br /> according to fire department instructions. <br /> (4) Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance <br /> with California Fire Code, Volume 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to <br /> conduct operations hazardous to life or property. <br /> C.F.C. 105.2. 1 <br /> 2 .
