Page 4.5— 12: <br /> Land disposal of sludge from potable water treatment facilities should be permitted by <br /> the Central Valley Water Quality Control Board under mitigation measure M4.4.1-5. <br /> B. Page 4.5—22 and 24: <br /> Land disposal of sludge from wastewater treatment plants is currently prohibited in <br /> San Joaquin County per the San Joaquin County Development Title 5 —9102 (a). <br /> (See mitigation measure M4.4.2-3). <br /> C. Page 4.9—30: <br /> The Environmental Health Department believes the Central Valley Water Quality <br /> Control Board should be added in tegards to dairy waste pond(s) removal per <br /> mitigation measure 4.9-1. <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department has regulatory authority <br /> over the investigation and cleanup of contamination from underground storage tank <br /> releases and would provide "no further action required" determinations for that source <br /> of contamination. Determinations of"no further action required" for any other <br /> sources of contamination would be by the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Central Valley Region or the California Department of Toxic Substance <br /> Control, including the December 4, 2003 crude oil release and any migration of it to <br /> the College Park site. <br /> The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department will review but does not <br /> provide approval of Environmental Site Assessments. <br /> 4 <br />
