Regional and Local Regulations <br /> San Joaquin County General Plan 2010 <br /> The San Joaquin County General Plan contains the following policy related to law enforcement that is applicable <br /> to the proposed project. <br /> Public Health and Sam Chanter <br /> The San Joaquin County General Plan specifies that the standard ratio for law enforcement shall be 1.5 officers <br /> assigned to patrol duty per 1,000 residents in urban areas(SJCCDD 1994a). <br /> Mountain House Master Plan 1994 <br /> The following law-enforcement policy from the MHMP is applicable to the proposed project. <br /> Public Health and Safetv <br /> The MHMP states that an urban level of service is to be provided from the commencement of construction. <br /> Policy 6.2(a). The standard for police protection shall be provided at a level of 1.5 sworn officers per 1,000 <br /> population or such other levels that may be specified in the General Plan consistent with the standards for <br /> urban communities in San Joaquin County, and any additional needs determined by the community. <br /> Final EIR for the Mountain House Master Plan and Specific Plan 11994 (Mitigation Measures) <br /> The following law-enforcement mitigation measures from the Final EIR for the Mountain House Master Plan and <br /> Specific Plan I are applicable to the proposed project. <br /> Mitigation Measure M4.3.4-1.The Master Plan should include Implementation under Objective 1 in police <br /> Protection(Appendix C),as follows: <br /> (e) A proposal for institutional and funding arrangements for providing police services shall be submitted at <br /> the time of formation of the Community Services District, as well as phasing of on-site police services,if <br /> required. <br /> (f) Deputy officers shall be added to the Sheriff's Department when the fust residences in the first Specific <br /> Plan area are constructed. Sworn officers shall be provided at a ratio of 1.5 officers per 1,000 residents <br /> within the community. <br /> Mountain House Master Plan and Specific Plan I Mitigation Monitoring Program <br /> The MHMP MMP does not contain law-enforcement mitigation measures applicable to the proposed project. <br /> College Park at Mountain House Specific Plan 1112004 <br /> The following law-enforcement measure from the College Park at Mountain House Specific Plan III is applicable <br /> to the proposed project. <br /> Implementation Measure 6.2.3 <br /> .. (a) The MHCSD shall provide police protection services at a level of is 1.5 sworn officers per 1,000 <br /> population or other such levels set forth by Community Approvals,MHCSD's Police Protection Plan and <br /> College Park at Mountain House Specific Plan III Draft EIR EDAW <br /> Public Services 4.4-15 San Joaquin County <br />
