Mountain House Parkway(Neighborhood D).An existing 48-inch trunk storm drain located in Mountain
House Parkway currently extends to the intersection with Mascot Boulevard and would be extended south to
near the I-205 interchange. This storm-drain line would collect and convey stormwater runoff from the
roadway and adjacent industrial land use areas to a new on-site water-quality basin to be located south of
Mascot Boulevard and just west of Mountain House Parkway, and then on to WQBl. _
► Central Parkway(Neighborhood A).An Existing 96-inch trunk storm`clean"water drain located in
Central Parkway extends to the intersection with Mascot Boulevard and would be extended south into the
project site. The drain line would leave Central Parkway and extend southeast along the north side of the
proposed community park to the intersection with gas lines and an overhead power-line easement. At this
point the drain line would turn 90 degrees and extend southwest until reaching Central Parkway again. From
there, the`clean"water main would generally extend south to connect with an existing California Department —
of Transportation(Caltrans)culvert at I-205.
Water-quality basin(Neighborhood A). An on-site water-quality basin would be constructed at the
southwest comer of the intersection of Central Parkway and Grant Line Road.
Phase IA
► During this phase of construction, stormwater improvements in Neighborhood A would involve constructing
site-specific drainage systems for"urban"runoff to convey stormwater to the water-quality basin at Central
Parkway and Grant Line Road. In addition, this phase of construction would involve constructing a 36-inch
"clean"storm drain to convey off-site`clean"water runoff from off-site Watershed E to the Central Parkway
"clean"water main.
Phase IB
► The DeAnza Boulevard storm-drain extension(Neighborhood B)constructed under Phase I would be further
extended to the south to connect with Caltrans culvert under I-205.
Phase 11
► In Neighborhood A,construction of site-specific drainage systems for"urban"runoff to convey stormwater to
the water-quality basin at Central Parkway and Grant Line Road would continue. In addition, this phase of
construction would involve constructing a 60-inch"clean"water storm drain to convey off-site`clean"water
runoff from Watershed D to the Central Parkway"clean"water main.
Phase 111
► In Neighborhood A,construction of site-specific drainage systems for`urbanized"runoff to convey
stormwater to the water-quality basin at Central Parkway and Grant Line Road would continue. In
Neighborhood D,this phase would involve construction of a new on-site water-quality basin south of Mascot
Boulevard just west of Mountain House Parkway for capturing and treating stormwater runoff from industrial
land along Mountain House Parkway.
For the College Park project to have a less—than-significant impact on the capacity of the existing downstream
MHMP storm-drain system, two things are required:
The incremental increase in runoff to be generated under the proposed project must be less than or equal to
that originally projected for the College Park site in the adopted MHMP and Mountain House Stormwater
Master Drainage Plan Update. This is because the projections of runoff quantities in these documents served
as the basis for the sizing of the existing downstream MHMP storm-drain system which has been sized to
accommodate development of the MHMP area as proposed in the original MHMP; and
EDAW College Park at Mountain House Specific Plan III Draft EIR
Drainage 4.7-14 San Joaquin County
