However, many of these species are not expected to occur at the College Park site and are not
discussed in this section because they are restricted to habitats that are not present at the College Park site, such as
tidal marsh,alkali flats,and chaparral.
Based on the database searches, reconnaissance surveys, and previously completed environmental documents,
nine special-status plant species have potential to occur at the College Park site, and are listed in Table 4.10-1.
These include bristly sedge(Carex comosa), slough thistle(Cirsium crassicaule),Delta button-celery(Eryngium
racemosum),rose-mallow(Hibiscus lasiocarpus)(also known as California hibiscus),Delta tule pea(Lathyrus
jepsonii var.jepsonir),Mason's lilaeopsis(Lilaeopsis masoniz),Delta mudwort(Limosella subulata), Sanford's
arrowhead(Sagittaria sanfordii)(also known as Sanford's sagittaria), and blue skullcap(Scutellaria laterillora),
(also known as mad-dog skullcap). Of these, the only plant listed as threatened or endangered is Delta button-
College Park at Mountain House Specific Plan III Draft EIR EDAW
San Joaquin County 4.10-7 Biological Resources
