SETTING r The Mountain House Community Services District(MHCSD)provides water supply, wastewater disposal,and storm drainage for the Mountain House Community of which the proposed Altamont Heights project is a part. Infrastructure for these utilities has been provided in the neighborhoods already occupied and currently under construction. The Altamont Heights project site would have to be annexed into the MHCSD before the infrastructure could be extended to serve the proposed project. Water supply includes a raw a` water supply under a contract between the MHCSD and the Byron-Bethany Irrigation District,treatment at a plant owned and operated by the MHCSD, and distribution including booster pump stations,pipelines and storage tanks. The current maximum day capacity of 4-80 t.
