The only mineral resources in the general area of the Mountain <br /> House Community are four quarries south of Tracy that produce aggregate for concrete. The <br /> County's General Plan states that natural gas is located in several fields under San Joaquin <br /> County,principally in the vicinity of the Delta. <br /> SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS IDENTIFIED IN 2005 SPIIIEIR <br /> The Initial Study for the 2005 SPIIIEIR determined that there are no aggregate resources <br /> within the immediate vicinity of the MHMP area. <br /> MITIGATION MEASURES IDENTIFIED IN 2005 SPIIIEIR <br /> Since the Initial Study for the 2005 SPIIIEIR determined that there are no aggregate <br /> resources within the immediate vicinity of the MHMP area,no mitigation measures were <br /> necessary. <br /> DISCUSSION REGARDING PROPOSED PROJECT <br /> a) Result in the loss of availability of a known mineral resource that would be of value to <br /> the region and the residents of the State? <br /> and <br /> b) Result in the loss of availability of a locally-important mineral resource recovery site <br /> delineated on a local general plan, specific plan or other land use plan? <br /> 4-52 <br />
