These features are common for current residential construction in California. Where individual projects do not comply with exterior noise standards of the San Joaquin Development Title, Mitigation Measure 4.13-4 requires that mitigation measures, such as noise barriers and setbacks between noise sources and sensitive receptors, be implemented to reduce exterior noise levels. Implementation of MM 4.13-4 would reduce noise impacts on residents in the proposed project to a less-than-significant levels.
