When a fire sprinkler system is installed in lieu of the fire apparatus access road, it shall be rnonitoreo by an approved fire alarm system and an audible alarm shall be installed in each living unit and all shall be linked together so that when the alarm' activates,it will activate'all alarm audible x devices in the building. 8. When fire alarm systems are installed, it shall be the responsibility of the Homeowners Association to insure that all monitoring costs including telephone lines are paid.to insure continuous service. Where practical and allowable by the applicable codes, multiple buildings may be monitored by a master fire alarm.panel. 9. The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements.will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to the Community Development Department for a building permit. a) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of Appendix 111-A and 111-13 of the California Fire Code. b) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California Fire Code and the standard adopted by the-San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. c) This planning application will require a fire access road to be completed before the County Surveyors office will file the map for record. Please contact Fire Prevention at 209-468- 3380 to schedule an inspection of the completed road. d) This project shall comply with the San Joaquin County Development Title Section 9- 1150.18, Road Naming Procedures. Please contact the Community Development Department at 468-2193 to complete this process prior to requesting Fire Department approval. e) All undeveloped parcels or portions of undeveloped parcels which are created as a result of this planning application shall remain free of weeds, debris,or any other combustible vegetation such as abandoned orchards or vineyards throughout the year to the satisfaction of the Fire Jurisdiction Having Authority.
