ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLIST <br /> 4.4 BIOLOGICAL RESOURCES <br /> Mitigation Measures <br /> No additional mitigation measures are required. <br /> r <br /> ' e) Conflict with any local policies or ordinances protecting biological resources, such as <br /> a tree preservation policy or ordinance? <br /> The proposed project would not conflict with any relevant policies or ordinances of the San <br /> Joaquin County General Plan and Development Title with the exception of the Riparian <br /> Habitat Ordinance.-This ordinance requires a developer to protect existing riparian habitat <br /> F (such as the drainage swale habitat at the proposed project site)or mitigate for the loss of the <br /> habitat. One method of mitigation is to contribute to existing off-site riparian habitat areas <br /> such as the Mountain House Creek corridor. Policies related to protection of other sensitive <br /> biological resources(such as special status species)will be addressed through the applicant's <br /> participation in the SJMSCP. The project would comply with the relevant sections of the <br /> MHMP and Specific Plan III.
