5. Any street less than fifty feet in width shall have restricted parking,with appropriate signage <br /> and curbs painted with red paint. The Fire Department shall have final approval on all fire <br /> lane designation, signage, and curb,markings. Typical.signage shall be"No Parking—Fire <br /> Lane". F Al . <br /> 6. All structures, residential, commercial, or industrial, shall have addresses posted+on,the. <br /> applicable structure on the public or priivate street and such ne.r <br /> umbering shall beadily visible <br /> and of a contrasting color. <br /> 7. Multiple occupancy residences consisting of two(2)or more dwelling units in a single building <br /> shall be provided with a fire apparatus access roadway around the entire structure or a' ' <br /> residential fire sprinkler system complying with applicable codes. When a .fire sprinkler <br /> system is installed in lieu of the fire-apparatus access road, it'shall be monitor'erd by an <br /> approved fire alarm system and an audible alarm shall be installed in,each living unit.and all <br /> shall be linked together so that.when the alarm activates, it will activate all.alarm audible <br /> devices in the building. ' <br /> I <br /> 8. When fire alarm systems are installed, it shall be the responsibility of the Homeowners <br /> Association to insure that all monitoring costs including telephone lines are paid;to insure <br /> continuous service. Where practical and allowable by the applicable codes,multiple <br /> buildings may be monitored by a master fire alarm panel. y <br /> 9. The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements.will.: <br /> be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to.the <br /> Community Development Department for a building permit. <br /> a) Fire flow and hydrants will be provided for the proposed project by the use of Appendix 111-A <br /> and 111-13 of the California Fire Code. <br /> b) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the California <br /> Fire Code and the standard adopted by the-San Joaquin County Fire Chiefs Association. <br /> c) This planning application will require a fire access road to be completed be#ore the County <br /> Surveyors office will file the map for record. Please contact Fire Prevention at 209468- <br /> 3380 to schedule an inspection of the completed road. <br /> d) This project shall comply with the San Joaquin County Development Title Section 9- <br /> 1150.18, Road Naming Procedures. Please contact the Community Development <br /> Department at 468-2193 to complete this process prior to requesting Fire Department <br /> approval_ <br /> e) All undeveloped parcels or portions of undeveloped parcels which are created as a result of <br /> this planning application shall remain free of weeds, debris, or any other combustible <br /> vegetation such as abandoned orchards or vineyards throughout the year to the <br /> satisfaction of the Fire Jurisdiction Having Authority.
