ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLIST 4.4 BIOLOGICAL.RESOURCES Mitigation Measures No additional mitigation measures are required. i e) Conflict with any local policies or ordinances protecting biological resources, such as a tree preservation policy or ordinance? The proposed project would not conflict with any relevant policies or ordinances of the San Joaquin County General Plan and Development Title with the exception of the Riparian Habitat Ordinance. This ordinance requires a developer to protect existing riparian habitat e Swale habitat at the proposed project site)or mitigate for the loss of the such as the drainage p p ( g habitat. One method of mitigation is to contribute to existing off-site riparian habitat areas such as the Mountain House Creek corridor. Policies related to protection of other sensitive biological resources(such as special status species)will be addressed through the applicant's participation in the SJMSCP. The project would comply with the relevant sections of the MI-IMP and Specific Plan III. Pre-construction surveys and compliance with applicable Incidental Take Minimization Measures of the SJMSCP would be required. Compliance lwith these policies would result in less-than-significant impacts. Mitigation Measures f R No mitigation measures are required. The proposed project is located within land areas covered by the SJMSCP and,as such, the applicant will participate in the plan and comply with the Incidental Take Minimization Measures to ensure compliance.
