GRANT LINE ROAD) <br /> This is a General Plan Pre-Application to change the General Plan designation of a one-acre <br /> parcel from General Agriculture (AIG)to Rural Service Commercial (C/RS). <br /> The project site is located on northwest corner of West Grant Line Road and West Eleventh <br /> Street . <br /> E <br /> The Community Development Department reviewed the pre-application for PA-0400351 and. <br /> offers the following comments; <br /> General Plan Policies <br /> In order to approve the General Plan Amendment the Board of Supervisors will have to <br /> determine that the internal consistency of the General Plan is maintained in adoption of the <br /> proposed General Plan Amendment. The Community Development Department has reviewed <br /> the proposed project's consistency and has determined that the proposed project is not <br /> consistent with the following sections of the General Plan: <br /> Growth Accommodation (General Plan Vol. 1 gq.111-2) <br /> • Rural Communities shall grow primarily through infill and should not be expanded <br /> • The parcel is adjacent to the rural community of Stoneridge. Changing the <br /> General Plan designation to C/RS would expand the rural community of <br /> Stoneridge. Expansion of Stoneridge does not appear to be consistent with the <br /> policy listed above. <br /> Rural Service Area Commercial requirements !General Plan VolI PP IV-25 <br /> (3) Development and Locational Criteria: Rural service commercial areas shall be: <br /> Z <br />
