This percolation
test was performed at the request and authorization of Mrs. Nancy
Serpa, and Mr. Roger Rumph, Civil Engineer.
The test holes were presaturated 24 hrs before percolation
testing commenced on November 20, 1991. The percolation testing
was conducted according to San Joaquin County Department of
Environmental Health regulations and was witnessed by a
representative of the San Joaquin County Department of
Environmental Health.
Two percolation holes were prepared in the proposed leaching area
locations for the subject parcels. At each of the test locations,
a shallow (42 inches deep) test hole and a deeper (8 feet, 8
inches) test hole was drilled using an 8" diameter solid stem
auger. The shallow test hole was drilled and tested as requested
by the County, and the deeper test hole was located by our
engineering staff for additional percolation data. The percolation
test holes were sleeved with 4" diameter perforated pipe to prevent
a potential cave-in, and thus insure test hole integrity. Gravel
was added to the bottom of the hole and placed in the annular space
between the perforated pipe and the bore hole.
Please find attached, the "Field Percolation Testing Report"
(signed by the San Joaquin County representative) , indicating the
test hole location, percolation rate and recommended sewage
disposal area.
Respectfully submitted,
CONTROL INSPECTION, INC.
Jess Wry, P.E.
Our reports and letters are submitted as the confidential property of our clients for their exclusive use.Any publication or reproduction of statements, conclusions or extracts from or
regarding our reports or letters is reserved.contingent upon the written authorization of Quality Control Inspection,Inc.
