f
I
This addendum contains the additional information requested to be added to my
Soil Suitability Study for the Joe Dutra Jr. Property at 29707 Grooms Road, Oakdale,
California 95361, APN: 207-290-56 & 59, by Environmental Health Department
Representatives Larry Godinho and Mike Huggins in the conference room at the S. J. Co.
fEnvironmental Health Department on Monday, July 14, 2003.
The section Recommendations on page 8 is to be replaced in its entirety as
follows:
Recommendations: Discharging effluent into 10,000 square feet minimum
usable leach field disposal areas is recommended for Parcels 3 and 4.
A 12,000 square feet minimum disposal area in combination with leach lines and
pits at their ends are recommended for both Parcels 1 and 2.
Also attached to this addendum is the San Joaquin County Environmental Health
Department Septic Permit Record Study table requested at the afore mentioned meeting
which is a summary sheet containing the permit numbers, dates, addresses, soil type
classifications and the specific type of septic systems involved(leach field, sumps and
pits) in each of the nine permits that I studied. This attachment will supplement the data
contained under the Possible Septic Contamination topic beginning on page 2 of my
aforementioned Soil Suitability Study.
The first paragraph on page 3 needs to be replaced with the following paragraph:
..of ten (10) septic permits reviewed. Two of the permits were for adding to the existing
systems and consisted of installing an additional line leading to a pit and the other an
additional line leading to a sump. One of the permits involved just leach line
construction. One other permit involved both a leach line as well as a line leading to a
sump. Four of the permits reviewed were installing lines leading to sumps.
Paragraphs two through four are to be deleted. The fifth and sixth paragraph on
page three are to remain in place.
Also a print of Permit 14717 is attached to this addendum confirming a 35' deep
pit was included in the ten septic permits reviewed as was mentioned at the
aforementioned meeting.
The initial Well Water Analysis section paragraph and the Chemical
concentrations on page 7 need to be replaced in their entirety as follows:
WELL WATER ANALYSIS: The water from the well on the subject property has been
resampled and tested entirely by a third party(Far Western Laboratories Inc.) and the
results of the resampled water testing for Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and Nitrate
P (NO3) are made an integral part of my Soil Suitability Study by including the results of
the Far West Laboratories Inc. testing results contained in their attached letter dated July
F
