The San Joaquin County Development Title Requirements listed below have been identified as <br /> pertinent to this project. Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be <br /> modified. <br /> A. Submit three (3) sets of detailed kennel construction plans to the Environmental Health <br /> Department for review prior to construction. The Environmental Health Department has <br /> specific requirements of kennel construction. A plan check fee of$210.00 is due at the time of <br /> submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> B. A convenient water supply and waste water disposal system meeting the requirements of the <br /> Environmental Health Department shall be available for washing food preparation equipment, <br /> bathing of animals, as well as washing down shelters and pens or dog runs. <br /> C. Construction of an individual sewage disposal system(s) under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 &9-1110.4). <br /> D. Kennels are subject to a yearly permit, a fee and inspection by the Environmental Health <br /> Department.' <br /> E. All liquid and solid wastes and vector problems associated with this kennel operation are to be <br /> retained on the premises so as not to cause a nuisance or a health problem. Any complaints <br /> that are verified against this site will be charged the Environmental Health Department hourly <br /> rate of$105.00 for response and correction, as per the Board of Supervisor's Resolution B-92- <br /> 1591. <br /> F. The number of animals per acre shall be consistent with appropriate waste management <br /> practices. A manure management plan shall be submitted for approval to the Environmental <br /> Health Department. A review fee of$210.00 is applicable at the time of submittal. Compliance <br /> with San Joaquin County Development Title 5, and the California Code of Regulations, Title 23, <br /> Division 3, Chapter 15, Article 6 shall be addressed in the manure management plan. <br />
