HOUSLEY (CIO MIKE SMITH ENGINEERING). <br /> Kermit Darrow; Mike Smith and Art Housley were present for this item. <br /> Jim briefly reviewed the Community Development Department's Conditions of Approval. <br /> He indicated that this item is scheduled to be considered by the Planning Commission <br /> on April 6, 2000. <br /> Jim informed the applicants that he would need a letter or phone call regarding how the <br /> applicant proposes to handle winery waste, by the middle of next week so that he could <br /> prepare the Staff Report. <br /> Ray indicated that the applicants will need to obtain discharge from Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board. Ray will add a condition to reflect this on Environmental Health <br /> Division Conditions of Approval. <br /> Kermit advised applicants to contact Dennis Rock regarding the on-site drainage. <br /> Jim explained the signage requirements. <br /> Jim provided the applicants with a copy of a letter received from a neighbor. QUARRY EXCAVATION PRE-APPLICATOIN NO. QX-00-1 OF <br /> KL ROORDA & COWART FARMS, INC. <br /> Associate Planner, Kai Luoma; Gene Vocu and Mahmoud Parvar were present for this <br /> item. <br /> Kai distributed a letter received from Air Pollution Control District. He suggested that the <br /> applicants contact them, should they have any questions. <br /> Kai briefly reviewed the memo from the Community Development Department. <br /> Kai indicated that the pumping into the river is a significant issue, although staff has not <br /> at this time received correspondence from the Corp. of Engineers and Regional Water <br /> Quality Control Board, permits from these agencies, as well as from Fish and Game may <br /> be required. <br /> Ray indicated that the applicants will need to obtain a discharge permit from the <br /> Regional Water Quality Control Board. <br />
