L y
LJuly 30, 2005
NOA Project Number: E05089A
6.7 Discussion of Percolation Test Results
LThe soils of the site have demonstrated a satisfactory percolation rate in accordance with the
requirements of the EHD.
L6.8 Discussion of Septic System Sizing
` Septic System Sizing and Construction should follow the San Joaquin County On-Site Wastewater
IL Disposal Standards where applicable.
,L 7.0 CONCLUSIONS
In summary, satisfactory percolation rates of the soil were achieved on each proposed parcel. There
` was no ground water encountered at a depth of eight feet below the ground surface. The on-site
water well was tested for nitrate and DBCP. DBCP was not detected in the water sample, however
L Nitrate was detected at a concentration of 76.5 mg/L-NO3.The Nitrate concentration in the well
water exceeds the maximum contaminate limit from drinking water of 45 mg/L-NO3.We
recommend not drinking the well water until the well is repaired or replaced and water quality is
within drinking water standards. You should contact the EHD for more details regarding health
Lissues and repair/replacement options.
L8.0 LIMITATIONS
L The conclusions of this report are based on the information provided regarding the existing and
proposed development, the use of the subject property, and the site conditions as they existed at the
time we excavated our test holes and performed the percolation tests. It was assumed that the test
holes and percolation test results are representative of the subsurface conditions in the general area.
L
L
I
L
L
10
L
6
