SOIL PROFILE: <br /> A SOIL PROFILE WAS PERFORMED AT THE PROJECT SITE FOR EACH FOOT <br /> BELOW THE GROUND SURFACE FOR A DEPTH OF 8 FEET . THE SOIL WAS <br /> UNIFORM THROUGHOUT THE TEST BORING CONSISTING OF SANDY SOIL. <br /> PERCOLATION TEST RESULTS: <br /> ON SEPTEMBER 2 , 1994, THE PROJECT SITE WAS TESTED TO DETERMINE THE <br /> PERCOLATION RATE. THE PROJECT SITE PASSED THE PERCOLATION TEST <br /> WITH A PERCOLATION RATE OF 13 MIN/INCH FOR A DEPTH OF 3 FEET <br /> PERCOLATION TESTS WERE CONDUCTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAN JOAQUIN <br /> COUNTY ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS. <br /> COMMENTS REGARDING EXISTING SEPTIC SYSTEMS: <br /> BASED ON THE INFORMATION GIVEN ON SHEET 4, THE EXISTING SEPTIC <br /> SYSTEMS IN THE AREA ARE FUNCTIONING WITH NO PROBLEMS EXCEPT FOR <br /> THE REPAIR OF THE LEHR PROPERTY TO THE NORTH . NO RECORDS OF THE <br /> INSTALLATION OF ORIGINAL SEPTIC SYSTEM FOR THE LEHR PROPERTY WERE <br /> FOUND, AND NO REPAIRS WERE PERFORMED SINCE 1988 . THE EXISTING <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEMS IN THE AREA ARE USING A SEPTIC TANK AND LEACH <br /> LINES. SEEPAGE PITS ARE NOT BEING USED, BECAUSE THE PERCOLATION <br /> RATE IN THE LEACH FIELD STRATA IS EXCELLENT. <br /> ENGINEER'S OPINION SOIL SUITABILITY: <br /> FROM THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM THE PERCOLATION TESTS AND EXISTING <br /> PERMITS FOR THE REPAIR AND INSTALLATION OF PRIVATE DISPOSAL <br /> SYSTEMS, THE SEPTIC SYSTEMS FOR THE PROJECT SITE SHOULD CONSIST OF <br /> A 8,000 SQUARE FOOT LEACH FIELD AREA WITH THE APPROPRIATE SIZE <br /> SEPTIC TANK, LENGTH AND LOCATION OF THE LEACH LINES DESIGNED FOR <br /> THE SOIL CONDITIONS IN THE AREA, AND THE SIZE OF THE FACILITY TO <br /> BE SERVED. SEEPAGE PITS ARE NOT REQUIRED. <br /> IT IS OUR PROFESSIONAL OPINION THAT THE FINDINGS INCLUDED IN THIS <br /> STUDY ARE A REPRESENTATIVE ASSESSMENT OF THE PROJECT AREA AT THE <br /> PRESENT TIME. THIS OPINION CANNOT CONSTITUTE A GUARANTEE OR <br /> WARRANTY, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. <br /> SHEET 5 <br />
