SOIL SUITABILITY STUDY <br /> Introduction <br /> Live Oak GeoEnvironmental, Inc (Live Oak) was contracted by Tom Conlin, Paul Lynch, <br /> and Brett Lagorio to conduct a Soil Suitability Study for their property located at 22201 <br /> East Frazier Road and 22260 East Harney Lane, Lodi, California (Plate 1). i <br /> The Soil Suitability Study was conducted to determine whether the soils are suitable for <br /> use with a septic system. The study was performed according to the requirements of <br /> Section 9-1105.2(d) of the San Joaquin County Development code. <br /> The formatting of the report has been designed to follow the recommendations of the <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department as described in its Soil <br /> Suitability Study Requirements Checklist. <br /> Proposed Development <br /> It is proposed to split the Site into nine approximately 40-acre parcels, one 10-acre <br /> parcel, and an approximately 40-acre designated remainder. Mr. Lynch indicated that <br /> the owners plan to convert the Site into a permanent crop such as a vineyard or an <br /> orchard. <br /> Site Description <br /> The Site is approximately 404 acres in size. It consists of Assessor's Parcel Numbers <br /> (APNs) 065-220-03 and 065-210-07, located at 22201 East Frazier Road and 22260 <br /> East Harney Lane, Lodi, California. The County project application number is PA- <br /> 1200230. The Site consists of irrigated pasture, dry grazing land, and an irrigated field <br /> of switchgrass. Two irrigation wells are located along the eastern side of the Site, and ' <br /> animal corrals with two shade structures are located in the southeast corner of the Site. <br /> The property is used for grazing cattle. A recent aerial photograph of the Site is <br /> included as Plate 3. �/ ) <br /> The elevation of the Site, according to a United States Geological Survey topographic <br /> map, is approximately 150 to 190 feet above mean sea level. The Site topography is <br /> somewhat hilly (Plate 4). <br /> The San Joaquin County Community Development Department web site states that the <br /> Site is zoned AG-40, general agriculture with a minimum parcel size of 40 acres. This (j <br /> zoning designation "is established to preserve agricultural lands for the continuation of <br /> commercial agricultural enterprises." <br /> LOGE 1217 Page 1 <br />
