Two additional borings were excavated on Parcel 10 on April 15 through 18, <br /> 2013. The borings were four inches in diameter and were excavated by hand auger, ( 2, <br /> and ranged from 3.0 to 18.75 feet deep. The locations of the borings are indicated on <br /> Plate 9. <br /> The soil in the borings was similar to, though less gravelly than, that described by the <br /> Soil Survey. Silt-clay and silt-sand mixtures were encountered in most holes; clean <br /> sand was identified in one location.
