San Joaquin Valley "I IN "r <br /> AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT HEALTHY AIR LIVING <br /> July 5, 2013 <br /> Stephanie Stowers <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> Community Development Department <br /> 1810 East Hazelton Ave. <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Project: CPA-1300080 <br /> District CEQA Reference No: 20130551 <br /> Dear Ms. Stowers: <br /> The San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution Control District (District) has reviewed the <br /> project referenced above consisting of subdividing an existing 770-acre parcel into two <br /> separate parcels of 80-acres and 690-acres. The division of land into individual parcels <br /> will not have an impact on air quality. However, if approved, future development will <br /> contribute to the overall decline in air quality due to construction activities, increased <br /> traffic, and ongoing operational emissions. The District offers the following comments: <br /> 1. Future development may require further environmental review and mitigation. <br /> Referral documents for those projects should include a project summary detailing, at <br /> a minimum, the land use designation, project size, and proximity to sensitive <br /> receptors and existing emission sources. <br /> 2.
