San Joaquin County April 2 , 1992
Public Health Services
Attention: Mr. Jim Miller
Subject: A.P.N. 086-410-07
Variance Application (VR-92-2)
Soil Suitability Study
Attached is a copy of a soil log performed on March 23 , 1992 ,
by Kleinfelder, Inc. Also attached is a copy of water analyses
performed on the existing well of the subject site and two
neighboring wells.
Within a radius of one-fourth (1/4) mile of the subject
property, there are eight (8) existing residences, including a
house on the subject site. There is no history of septic system
failures in this area. It is the opinion of the undersigned that
the soil conditions are suitable for the purpose of the subject
application, which is to create a 0 . 95 acre site for the existing
residence with an existing septic system, leaving a 0 . 69 acre
remainder parcel for a future homesite which will be served by a
separate private domestic well and a separate septic tank system.
In consideration of the fact that the subject Variance
application will provide for a maximum of one (1) additional new
septic tank system, it is the opinion of the undersigned that the
subject application will not have an adverse cumulative effect on
the quality of the groundwater in the area.
Our professional opinion is that the above findings and
statements do not constitute either an expressed or implied
guarantee or warranty.
Very truly yours,
R.
