3.PROJECT DESCRIPTION MOUNTAIN HOUSE NEIGHBORHOODS K AND L INITIAL STUDY <br /> I <br /> I <br /> Based upon Master Plan implementation policies, a branch library for the <br /> Mountain House community must be provided when the population of Mountain <br /> House reaches 10,000 persons and must be a minimum of 5,000 sf. The <br /> buildout of Neighborhoods E, F, and G (SPI)may result in an exceedance of the <br /> 10,000-person threshold. A branch library has been provided at the - <br /> Neighborhood Commercial Center in Neighborhood E. <br /> A new high school is to be built when there are approximately 650 to 1,000 high <br /> school students within the Mountain House community. This high school has not <br /> yet been constructed but would be located within Neighborhood D to the south of <br /> the project site. <br /> APPROVALS REQUIRED FOR THE PROJECT <br /> The proposed project would require Tentative Subdivision Map approvals, <br /> grading permits, and building permits from San Joaquin County. <br /> The proposed project would be consistent with the land uses and densities <br /> I shown for the project site in SPIT and would not require amendments to either <br /> SP11 or the Mountain House Master Plan. <br /> Federal, State, regional, and local agencies that may require permits for the <br /> 9 9 Y <br /> proposed project prior to its construction andlor operation include the following: <br /> ■ Regional Water Quality Control Board(National Pollutant Discharge <br /> Elimination System[NPDES] permit). <br /> ■ San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District(applicable construction- <br /> related permits). <br /> c�„� 3-22 <br />
