TRANSPORTATIONITRAFRG <br /> ■ Grant Line Road is a two-lane, east-west road that runs parallel to and north <br /> of 1-205. It provides access to the City of Tracy and also connects to the <br /> 1-580 freeway to the west of 1-205 via Altamont Pass Road. In the vicinity of <br /> Grant Line Road and Mountain House Parkway, it is generally a rural road <br /> �- with posted speeds limits of 45 miles per hour. The existing average daily <br /> traffic(ADT) is approximately 3,700 vpd. <br /> ■ Mascot Boulevard is a minor arterial within the Mountain House community <br /> that connects the residential area to Mountain House Parkway to the east. <br /> The ADT is approximately 5,700 vpd with a posted speed limit of 35 miles <br /> per hour. <br /> Transit Services <br /> The San Joaquin Regional Transit District(SJRTD) provides public transit <br /> services in the Stockton metropolitan area as well as countywide, intercity, <br /> commuter, and rural transit services. The SJRTD provides bus services between <br /> the San Joaquin County region and other Bay Area cities and Sacramento. The <br /> �- SJRTD operates nearly 11 bus trips per day between San Joaquin County <br /> (Stockton, Tracy, Lodi, Escalon, Ripon, and Manteca)and the South Bay, East <br /> Bay, Sacramento, and Napa regions. Current SJRTD commuter routes are <br /> shown below in Table 5.15-2. <br /> The SJRTD provides County Area Transit(CAT) Elderly and Disabled Dial-A- <br /> Ride service to qualifying San Joaquin County residents. This service is <br /> available to Mountain House residents. Passengers can be taken directly to the <br /> Tracy Wal-Mart and the West Valley Mall. Fares are$0.75 for the Elderly and <br /> Disabled Dial-A-Ride service. For travel within Tracy or to outlying cities or <br /> Y" areas, passengers must transfer to Tracy's Dial-A-Ride, the Tracer,or SJRTD's <br /> "Hopper'service. Fares are$1.50 each way on SJRTD's Hopper. Transfers are <br /> not provided to County Area Transit General Public Dial-A-Ride passengers. <br /> Tri Delta Transit offers Mountain House residents convenient commuter bus <br /> service to the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station. Bus service pick-up is located in <br /> front of Wicklund Elementary School on East Legacy Drive Monday through <br /> Friday. A one-way trip is$9,or for$95 one can purchase tickets for 20 trips.A <br /> monthly pass is available for$110. <br /> In May 1997,the San Joaquin Regional Rail Commission (SJRRC),the Alameda <br /> Congestion Management Agency(ACCMA),and the Santa Clara Valley <br /> Transportation Authority(VTA)executed an agreement to create the Altamont <br /> Commuter Express(ACE)Joint Powers Authority(JPA). The ACE rail service <br /> became operational on October 19, 1998.The closest station to the west is <br /> Livermore with additional stations at Pleasanton, Fremont, Great America, Santa <br /> Clara, and San Jose. <br /> The closest ACE station to Mountain House is located in Tracy at Tracy <br /> - Boulevard near Linne Road.
