The Site uses are anticipated to remain unchanged at the present <br /> lime. <br /> 2.3 To ra h <br /> A recent U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map was obtained from the <br /> San Joaquin County District Viewer. In the map, the Site is depicted as vacant or <br /> agricultural land. A field road grosses Parcel -04, and a well is located near its center.. <br /> An irrigation canal is depicted crossing the southwest corner of Parcel -06; a field road <br /> and a pond follow its contours. The property is approximately 135 to 165 feet above <br /> mean sea level in an area with a slight grade down to the west. Surrounding properties <br /> are also shown to be vacant or agricultural land and orchard. This map is included as <br /> Plate 4 in Appendix 1. <br /> 3.0 HISTORICAL RESEARCH <br /> 3.1 Aerial PhoWmlphs <br /> Live Oak reviewed aerial photographs of the Site provided by the San .Joaquin County. <br /> Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California. The available photographs were dated 1937, <br /> 1952, 1,963, 1975, and 1983. Three additional photographs, dated October 1998, May <br /> 2004, and September 2018, were obtained from the San Joaquin County District <br /> Viewer_ <br /> In the 1937 photo, the Site appears to be dry farmed or grazing land. Two small <br /> streams are apparent an the Site, one at the north and one at the south. A field road <br /> can be seen crossing Parcel -04. The adjoining properties also appear to be dry farmed <br /> orpasture land. Southern Pacific Railroad tracks can be seen to the southwest of the <br /> Site. <br /> In the 1952 photo, the southern stream on the Site has been channeled into a canal_ It , <br /> appears that a portion of the Site is being used for crops or irrigated pasture_ A pond <br /> can be seer, to the east of the Site. No other significant changes are apparent <br /> In the 1863 photo, additional area of the Site is being used fnr crops or Irrigated pasture. <br /> It appears that the southwest comer of the Site may be a rive field. A second pond can <br /> be seen to the east. No other significant changes are apparent. <br /> In the 1975 photo, a new rural residence is apparent to the west of the Site.
