L May 25, 2004
NOA Project Number: E04061A
Page 18
8.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATIONS
A satisfactory percolation rate was achieved on each proposed lot. It is our opinion, based largly
on the field work and percolation testing of NATS, the soils are suitable for a septic system with
leach lines and seepage pits. The EHD inspectors observed a satisfactory percolation test on each
` of the undeveloped parcels. The percolation test results and location maps are contained in the
appendix.
The nitrate loading balance was performed based on the assumptions discussed in this report and
the assumptions of the Hantzshe&Finnemore equation. The analysis indicates that uses
associated with the proposed project will not cause a long term buildup of nitrates above 10
mg/L-N in the ground water. We recommend following the San Joaquin County Sewage
Standards where required.
9.0 LINIITATIONS
Our professional services were performed, our findings obtained, and our conclusions proposed
in accordance with generally accepted engineering principles and practices.
