Phase I Environmental Sitetssessment <br /> Page 11 <br /> Brookland Farms Subdivision <br /> GPE Project No. 440.1 <br /> March 19, 2004 <br /> 3.3 Historical & Aerial Photo Review <br /> Local resources were used to study available aerial photographs. Aerial <br /> photographs were obtained from the San Joaquin County Surveyor's office <br /> located at 1810 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, CA. The surveyor's office was <br /> visited on March 8, 2004. Selected photographs and maps were photocopied to <br /> include in this report (Appendix Q. <br /> EDR Sanborn also maintains copies of Historic Fire Insurance maps for many <br /> .. metropolitan areas of California. Due to the historic rural nature of the site, no <br /> Sanborn maps are available for this part of San Joaquin County. <br /> Aerial Photographs <br /> The following gives a summary of the information gathered from the review of <br /> the aerial photographs: <br /> 1939 Air Photo (Scale: 1"=660') <br /> Property <br /> The Property appears to be agricultural land used apparently as dry pasture. <br /> Adjacent <br /> Nearby and adjacent sites are also undeveloped. <br /> r, 1952 & 1965 Air Photos (Scale: 1"=660') <br /> Property <br /> Similar to the 1939 air photo <br /> Adjacent <br /> Similar to the 1939 air photo. The two lots which are today the site of the <br /> turkey ranch appear to be used to grow row crops or as irrigated pasture. <br /> 1975 & 1983 Air Photos (Scale: 1"=400') <br /> Property <br /> Similar to the earlier photos. There appears to be a corral near the site of the <br /> current corral. <br /> Adjacent <br /> r. Nearby sites have been developed to their current uses. The turkey ranch has <br /> been constructed by this time.
