Phase I Environmental Site�ssessment I./ Page 13 <br /> Brookland Farms Subdivision <br /> GPE Project No. 440.1 <br /> March 19, 2004 <br /> 4.0 SUMMARY OF SITE RECONNAISSANCE <br /> Observations of the Property made during the site reconnaissance performed on, <br /> March 5, 2004 are described below. (See Appendix A for reference maps and the <br /> ` cover picture for depiction of the site). <br /> Property Description & Location <br /> 4 The Property is located in a rural area south of Farmington, northwest of the <br /> intersection of Carter and Henry Roads. It consists of a mixture irrigated and <br /> non-irrigated pasture. The only fixed structures at the site consist of fences and <br /> two water supply wells. Both of these wells he on a ridge bisecting the site from <br /> north to south. The northernmost well consists is a 1,500 gallon per minute <br /> agricultural well. The other is a cattle water supply well on the southern end of <br /> the ridge. Also located on site are four drainage ponds, two of which have pumps <br /> for recircluating the irrigation water. The water in the ponds appears <br /> reasonably clean with a rich population of flora and fauna. <br /> Adjacent Properties South <br /> ` There are several parcels located south of the site. These are devoted to rural <br /> residential or ranch use Parcel 187-40-06 is the site of a turkey farm. Parcels <br /> 187-40-4, 5, 6 & 24 are used for rural residential use.
