Box 668
San Andreas, CA 95249
PROJECT: Henry Road Parcels (East Side)
Henry & Carter Roads, (Southeast Corner)
San Joaquin County
SUBJECT: Percolation Testing
On April 24 , 1991, representatives of Quality Control Inspection,
Inc. prepared percolation test holes using a truck mounted drill
rig in the area of the above mentioned project. The percolation
test holes were located as selected by a member of our engineering
- staff and as designated on the project percolation-test
environmental health permit application. This percolation test was
performed at the request and authorization of Roger Rumph of Cen-
- Cal Associates, Inc.
The test holes were presaturated 24 hrs before percolation
testing commenced on April 25, 1991. The percolation testing was
conducted according to San Joaquin County Department of
Environmental Health regulations and was witnessed and observed by
a representative of the San Joaquin County Department of
Environmental Health.
A total of 8 percolation holes were prepared at various
- locations. At each of two test locations, a shallow (4 feet) deep
test hole and a deeper (approximately 5-8 feet) test hole were
drilled using 811 diameter solid stem auger. The shallow test hole
- was drilled and tested as requested by the County, and the deeper
test hole was located by our engineering staff for additional
percolation data. The percolation test holes were sleeved with 411
diameter perforated pipe to prevent a potential cave-in and thus
insure test hole integrity. Gravel was added to the bottom of the
hole and placed in the annular space between the perforated pipe
and the bore hole. Please find attached, the Field Percolation
Testing Report (signed by the San Joaquin County representative) ,
indicating the test hole location, percolation rate and recommended
sewage disposal area.
QU TY CON p L INSPECTION, INC.
s Wry, P.
JW/dj
cc: 2 Client
Our reports and letters are submitted as the confidential property of our clients for their exclusive use.Any publication or reproduction of statements, conclusions or extracts from or
regarding our reports or letters is reserved, contingent upon the written authorization of Quality Control Inspection,Inc.
