Webber
Stockton, CA 95202
Attn: Mike Huggins
Re: Addendum to Soils Suitability Report
PA-03-217
Project No. 0338
Dear Mike:
Dillon & Murphy prepared a Soils Suitability Report in August, 2003 for PA-03-217 in
accordance with Section 10100 of San Joaquin County Development Code. The report
was revised in September, 2003 to include a design for an Engineered septic system.
There are no immediate plans for a second unit dwelling, but the September report
included a design for a future two-bedroom house. The existing house on the property is
two bedrooms.
Based on our conversation this morning, the design should be more conservative and based
on a potentially larger future home. My recommendation, therefore, is to double the size
of the proposed system. I initially proposed a 30' x 40' filter bed. I am revising my
recommendation to include a 60' x 30' filter bed with leach lines 5 foot on centers. The
bed will include a 12" gravel bed, overlaid with perforated pipe, overlaid with 6" of gravel,
overlaid with paper, overlaid with native soil.
Please consider this amendment and call the surveyor's office if you accept this revision.
Thank you for your assistance on this project
Sincerely, QpOFESSIpNqZ
Q°oMRp Fy
^ m
Jo Murphy No. 45277
E 45277 * D(P.9-30-06 e
L
f
JM/cg aT9T IC I V%\- PP
OF CAS\F_
Enc.
C:\0338\Huggins Itr 102203
