Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. A. A qualified environmental professional shall prepare a surface subsurfa cdntaminati report) identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface-contami tion catld by pastor eurr�rtand uses. The report shall include evaluation of non-point source of hazardous materials, including agricultural chemical residues, as well as potential point sources, such as fuel storage tanks, septic systems, or chemical storage areas. The report shall be submitted to the Environmental Health Department prior to Parcel Map approval (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-905.12). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. NOTE: The Environmental Health Department requires an addendum to the Surface and Subsurface Contamination Report dated January 26, 2004. B. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of Parcel Map (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. NOTE: The Environmental Health Department requires an addendum to the Soil Suitability Study dated August 10, 2004. C. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane(DBCP) and nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State- approved laboratory (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). D. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-systems) under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 & 9-1110.4). E. Construction of individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.3). s MH:cf
