Other requirements may also apply. These requirements cannot be modified. <br /> A. A qualified environmental professional shall prepare a surface and subsurface contamination report, <br /> identifying any potential source of surface or subsurface contamination caused by past or current land <br /> uses. The report shall include evaluation of non-point source of hazardous materials,including <br /> agricultural chemical residues,as well as potential point sources, such as fuel storage tanks,septic <br /> systems, or chemical storage areas. The report shall be submitted to the Environmental Health <br /> Department prior to Parcel Map approval (San Joaquin County Development Title,Section 9-905.12). <br /> A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> NOTE: The Environmental Health Department requires an addendum to the Surface and Subsurface <br /> Contamination Report dated January 26,2004. <br /> B. The Environmental Health Department requires a soil suitability study indicating that the area is <br /> suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of Parcel Map(San <br /> Joaquin County Development Title,Section 9-1105.2(d)). A review fee of$186.00 must be paid at <br /> time of submittal to the Environmental Health Department. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice <br /> or E.P.A.Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal system is required for each <br /> parcel. A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> NOTE: The Environmental Health Department requires an addendum to the Soil Suitability Study dated <br /> August 10,2004. <br /> C. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane(DBCP)and <br /> nitrates prior to recordation of the Parcel Map. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State- <br /> approved laboratory(San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1115.7). <br /> D. Construction of individual sewage-disposal-system(s)under permit and inspection by the <br /> Environmental Health Department is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability <br /> findings (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 &9-1110.4). <br /> E. Construction of individual domestic water well under permit and inspection by the Environmental <br /> Health Department is required at the time of development(San Joaquin County Development Title, <br /> Section 9-1115.3). <br /> MR cf <br />
