December 19, 2005
Project Numbef SSS-05.04A
FOR: Arturo and Renato Paniagua
420 North Hewitt Road
Linden, CA 95236
(209) 406-5964
PROJECT: 420 North Hewitt Road
Original Application Number: PA-04-069
New Application Number: PA-05-733
A.P.N. 093-030-66
420 North Hewitt Road
Linden, CA 95236
SUBJECT: Soil Suitability Study Addendum with Percolation Testing for the Designated
Remainder Parcel.
INTRODUCTION
A Soil Suitability Study was completed for the project referenced above on August 10, 2004. /
The project originally consisted of four proposed Parcels. It was subsequently determined that
the subject property could be subdivided into four Parcels, denoted as Parcels 1 through 4, and a
Desiimated Remainder Parcel. Consequently, it had to be determined where the percolation tests
were completed for the original application Tentative Map in relation to this new Tentative
Parcel Map. /
Found in Appendix A, is the new Tentative Map for this project at a scale of 1" = 100'. The red
vertical lines between the northern and southern property boundaries represent the original Parcel
property lines. The original percolation tests are represented by two red dots illustrating the
locations of the shallow and deep perc tests. Red distance lines from the original Parcel
boundaries denote the measurements from these boundaries to the original perc tests. Since it is
the policy of the Environmental Health Department(EHD) to install septic systems disposal
fields within 100 feet of percolation tests conducted for a given Parcel, the red semicircular lines
represent a 100 foot radius from the original perc tests in relation to the new Parcel boundaries.
As can be noted, original percolation tests were conducted last year on proposed Parcels 1, 2, 3,
and 4,but not the Designated Remainder. Consequently, this Soil Suitability Study Addendum
presents the results of percolation testing for this Parcel.
Page-1-
T O.
